MesaRO's been around a long time; in fact the longest surviving server out there with almost 9 years of service. I ask you, the lurkers, the ex-players, the few left. Are we done?

I'm still happy to run MesaRO but almost 1/2 a year without even a partner donation - the machines are running on my own servers, and using my standard connection (even though that's damn beefy) so my personal cost is not too bad right now compared to the way it used to be.

Again, I ask, are we done?
Please speak up with your opinion.
I need to make an informed decision if I am to shut MesaRO down for good (I'd leave the domain, webpage, forum, etc. active for community purposes) or if I do still have people willing to play. I don't even care about donations right now. I just want to know if I'll have people playing.

sad to say, with my random popping up here and there. im done. Its been fun and weird and memorable times (espcially on vent while in game). But im done, and i think mesa is almost done.

BUT-BUT-BUT... Gravity added Weapon Enchanting! You'd be a fool to resign from the PServer business now! I mean, they're almost done implementing the classes they said they'd have 3 years ago!

As much as I love Mesa, I think it's time for the server to retire. Ragnarok is long dead and Mesa's just eating up your resources... not to mention I can't even get any Ragnarok clients to work on my computer anymore. :P

Let Mesa be a pleasant memory. It was a big chapter in my life and I know it was a huge one in yours, Keith. Despite the stress it caused, I definitely think it helped fuel your passion for what you do. You, sir, are a money-making programmer man, with plenty of those god-awful pieces of paper we used to talk about.

Pack Mesa up. You've got more important things to do!

That's a great response and it helps me with my decision. I'm pretty done with RO and with so few decent people playing any server: let alone Mesa. It's about time to FOCUS on my other projects.

No! I don't want mesa to die :( I've had soo many memories on here, when i think about them all sometimes i get choked up. I miss it so much! i just wish there was a way for it to be back :/

I still log-in every week to see whats happening. But it's like a ghost town when ever I'm online. It's sad. I really like playing this game but our community has left us hanging. Well, I'll be online tonight to pay my respects if anyone wants to join me.

Lastly, I just want to wish Mesaro a final (hoping it isn't the last) "Happy Birthday!".

It's been a good long time, and I miss how things used to be. Mesa had the best community there every could be, but everybody just kind of disappeared.

Streek, you did a great job keeping the server alive. I wish you (and everybody else reading this) all the best. :)

Noooooo!!! I don't want it to die! I know I don't play that often these days, but I've been on this server about six years and I really hate to see it go. I wish I could afford to pay for your servers streek... I totally would if I could.
